Can I bring in my own alcohol and/or bartender?

Montgomery Farms carries its own liquor license and provides all alcohol and bartending services in house.

 

Can I bring in my own decorations?

Absolutely!  Montgomery Farms provides tables, chairs, and linens along with several rustic and modern tables/display/signage options.  If desired, Montgomery Farms offers a variety of Decorating Packages, ranging from centerpieces to flowers and more.

 

Can I hire my own vendors?

Yes.  Aside from bartending services Montgomery Farms will provide a list of great vendors such as DJ’s, Caterers, Photographers and many other services for your event.  This list is a population of great vendors with a variety of options and price ranges to suite your needs.

 

Is your barn heated and/or air conditioned?

Our 5,000 square foot, two-story barn is 150 years old and has had many upgrades to allow for modern conveniences while maintaining its rustic integrity.  While it is protected from rain it is not insulated.  While weather temperature is unpredictable, we can provide fans to circulate air if need or provide heating and cooling options that can be rented.  If guests have their own heaters they are welcome to bring in their own for free.

How long do I have the venue the day of the event?

For Weddings Friday and Saturday:  8:00 a.m. to Midnight

For Weddings Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

For corporate or private events: packages start at a minimum of four hours and can be extended as needed.

 

Does your venue have restrooms?

Yes.  Montgomery Farms has a separate facility next to the Barn that has public, indoor restrooms along with a bridal and groom suite as well.  This building is insulated and climate controlled.

 

If I wanted my wedding ceremony outside is there a back up option if it were to rain?

Yes.  A back up plan is always discussed while showing the property.  For a wedding with a guest count of 275 or less, the ceremony and reception can be executed completely under the cover of the Barn.  Montgomery Farms staff will gladly move the wedding activities into the barn on the day of the ceremony if necessary. For weddings with a guest count of 275 or more, it is recommended that a tent be budgeted in case of rain to ensure to protection from inclement weather.

 

What is the occupancy capacity of the facility?

While the property can host several thousand people, the Main Barn can hold up to 275 people for weddings and private events under cover and protected from rain.  Guests counts over 275 for weddings or events can be discuss with the venue coordinator as to what set up would need to be.
